Location: Bolsa Chica State Beach Visitor Center
at the entrance to Bolsa Chica State Beach, Pacific Coast Highway, between Seapoint St. and Warner Ave.
Cost: $75.00 (includes a Naturalist Training Manual & photo binder) PLUS a one-year Amigos de Bolsa Chica Membership (at the level of your choice).
You will receive Certification as an Amigos de Bolsa Chica Naturalist upon completion.
The topics to be covered are Birds, Endangered Species, Ecology, History, Restoration, Wetland Native Plants, Vertebrates and Invertebrates, the Gabrieleno Band of Mission Indians and Teaching Tips. Program includes 2 field trips to the Bolsa Chica Wetlands, led by expert teachers.

If you love the Bolsa Chica Wetlands, please consider volunteering your time to teach students, scouts and adults about history, ecology, birds and other amazing facts of this beautiful and unique coastal ecosystem. Amigos de Bolsa Chica's trained Volunteer Naturalists lead groups of all ages on Saturday public tours, and they lead groups of scouts and students from classrooms all over Southern California on privately scheduled weekday wetland tours. The knowledge and experience of Amigos de Bolsa Chica volunteer naturalist has been known to change the lives of many tour-goers.
